 Our panels are better than Tier 1 Bankable, they are Banked. We provide an Irrevocable, Annual Renewable Letter of Credit (LC) from a Fitch Rated BB or better Global Bank.

The Almaden Morocco 15-year product warranty offers a Project Specific Warranty Assurance, which will be assured by an annually renewed Letter of Credit (LC) that guarantees full replacement value through a Fitch rating BBB or better bank. We believe this is the best possible protection for the warranty as it has a better guarantee. In other words, the warranty provides “bankability” utilizing the LC (financial instrument) LCs are broadly used in the renewable energy development industry and are accepted as a standard for assurance. We believe this assurance and bank backing are superior compared to the metrics considered for Bloomberg ratings. This along with our numerous factory and product certifications provide perhaps the strongest financial warranty assurance program available. Note: The warranty will revert to the standard performance warranty beginning year 16. For a total of 20 year combined warranty.
